"Becky and Pete,  At last I have sorted through the mass of information and changes that coming onto the Confident Rider Course/s has made.  When I first embarked on the course I didn't have a horse I could ride and my objective was to try to prepare for the day I could ride again.  My history with horses parrelled my life which was actually rather weird!  However, riding confidently again was what I hoped to achieve.  Without wanting to sound too poetic the first course was life-changing not only for my riding and my confidence with horses but also in my personal life.  I started the course full of "stuff" and left with a rather nice space in my brain from which to build a different perspecitve both in riding and in life.  Thank you is not adequate...  That process breathed new life into my time with horses and my enthusiasum returned!  A very fascinating journey and I know that my being open to possibilities was the key to the success  I now feel in my riding.  I can acturally ride!!  Having spent years not beleiving I could be a force for change in terms of the behaviour of my horse I am now a believer and what a difference it has made...  The follow-up course using an actual horse was a very important turning-point.  I was able to ride my wonderful new horse Blake with a confidence I have not felt for years.  The fact that i was able to focus completely on the riding and not have negative thoughts worming thier way into my now rather spacious brain was a joy!!  AND STILL IS....................  That's the extraordinaly thing - which is why I have waited to say thank you - it's long-lasting and real, so to both of you - thank you so much, the difference you have made is profound and I will be eternally gratefull xxxx and so will Blake."  Lorraine

"Hi Becky, Thank you and Pete so much for the mind blowing weekend!  It was a really emotional journey.  The rather prompt test was Monday's 12 mile ride!  No biting off of husband's head in the morning as I stressed about loading / trailering / riding etc. (totally unheard of.)  Loaded, drove trailer for an hour and ten minutes with a beam on my face and no tension in my shoulders (usually clinging for dear life to the steering wheel - wow!)  Had 3 canters (the first instigated by me - my friend nearly fell off her horse at this point!)  We did some lovely trotting in my new position down huge expanses of stubble(!)  I'm totally blown away by it all!  Thanks again!"  Sharon

"Hi Becky, I thought you'd like to know how I've been getting on since the Confident Rider Workshop.  There have been some pretty massive changes.  When I got home I took Sadie for a short hack on her own.  We don't do much hacking out alone as she can be quite difficult...After the Workshop I felt totally calm, knew it didn't matter what Sadie did because I could cope and as a result she...decided that even though it was scary she would walk...We've also been jumping...putting the jumps up feels fine...In the past I would have totally panicked...I stayed totally calm and focused.  It's all very weird, in situations where I would have been scared before I'm just not and I'm really enjoying doing more.  It's amazing, I'm so glad I didn the Workshop :0)  Thanks very much to you and Peter.  See you on the next course." Helen

"Hi Becky and Pete, I had some good reflection time on the long car journey home...I settled into a feeling of optimism that I realised had been missing from me for a while...I went to see my boy and formulated a plan to get back on board...after a break of 2 1/2 years...this feels like a great step forward!  I must tell you that I went for my regualar lesson...i managed some canter before doing some jumping!!!!!  Do you realise what a big (I mean HUGE!!) statement this is?!  Proper jumping, short stirrups...the whole 9 yards...I haven't jumped for 3+ years!!  And I had a ball!  I am so pleased to have attended your workshop, and am enthused to continue my confidence building work.  Thank you both for what you have done for me...I am now looking to do an equine Reiki course too (something I've been thinking of for a while but keep putting off!)  Bloody empowering stuff this confidence" Jayne
