About Becky Chapman       

From a non-horsey (but very supportive) family Becky was born pony mad but took at few years out, living and working in London from when she was 16 to 18 years old. Since her return (many years ago!) she has trained and worked within the equine industry, initially gaining B.H.S qualifications, then running a "conventional" livery yard and teaching freelance.

A family of her own, two broken legs, the horses and riders Becky has met and the yards she has visited and worked at throughout her career have lead to some fundamental changes to the way she works, rides, teaches and chooses to live her life, culminating in the construction of Ashen E.C  which opened in March 2005 offering training, courses and clinics to riders of all standards and from all disciplines. 

Ashen E.C is also home of "Strider", a very sophisticated, computerised riding simulator, providing stride-by-stride feedback regarding the riders' bounce, balance (front/back AND left/right) and rein contact, invaluble to riders of all standards and used extensively  in our Confident Rider and Coach Workshops.

Becky was nominated for The Field and Lyceltts Entreprenure of the Year 2008 and was awarded a Jeffress Trust Training Scholarship through the A.B.R.S.

                                                         About Peter Doherty                                                      

Peter studied for his Certificate, Diploma and Practitioner Diploma with The London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH). He gained his Diplomate Membership of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) following his dissertation on the subject of Memory and Learning.


Peter is also a Master Practitioner of Time Line Therapy and a Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer of NLP. He is also trained in Callahan Techniques® Thought Field Therapy. Peter is committed to "Life-Long" learning and is always looking to improve his skills in the areas of human performance and coaching. He is a very experienced trainer and coach and has many years of experience both as a sports coach and professional trainer. He brings his own calming style and sense of humour to the workshops and trainings that he delivers.

As a therapist Peter uses an eclectic mix of techniques to enable his clients to overcome and resolve their issues and thereby take control of their own destiny. His philosophy is to take people from "Possibility to Actuality" and to enable his clients to achieve personal empowerment. Peter has recently passed his studies for a Diploma in Education and is also studying for a Masters Diploma in Personal Training. Peter is also an NVQ D32 / 33 Assessor.
